CSI BREAKFAST MEETING MINUTES
April 2, 2003

1. Scott Dressel called the Regular Meeting of the Central Missouri Chapter to Order at 7:40AM at the Columbia Regional Library.

3. The meeting minutes from the March 12, 2003 were distributed and approved.
4. Bob Drainer presented the treasures report for March 2003.

The Treasurer's Report was approved.

5. Committee Reports

1. Membership committee. Jerry Thompson reported that we currently have 62 members with 53 Home Chapter members.
2. Brad Copeland reported that plans are underway for the Member Awareness scheduled for April 22, 2003. He also reported that he has been working with Jim Morris of AIA for a joint CSI/AIA meeting to be held July 16, 2003. This will be a one day seminar on the IBC Code.
3. No formal Report was presented for the Bylaws Committee.
4. No formal Report was presented for the Newsletter Committee.
5. No formal Report was presented for the Bylaws Committee.
6. No formal Report was presented for the Certification.
7. The information on our Website is current and up to date.
8. Brice reported that the CSI University Symposium would be held in Philadelphia in June. More information to follow. He also reported that he along with Scott Dressel would be attending the Construct America Convention in Chicago on April 8 through April 12.
9. Jim Cooley reported that the Next Mini Product Show was held on March 18, 2003 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, Missouri.
10. Greg Wack reported that the Columbia Country Club was selected for this years annual Golf Tournament with NAWIC. The date of July 28 has been selected.

3. Old Business

1. Scott is working on the Mission Statement
2. There was no major discussion concerning the Bylaws.

3. New Business

1. Nick Peckham asked if CSI would be willing to Co-Sponsor the with USGBC for a Sustainable Building Conference in Missouri in the future. A motion was made and passed.
2. Andy Bonderer announced that the Scholarship Application must be received by April 10, 2003.

3. Program Topic
Speaker: Elinor Barrett, Owner's Representative - Columbia Public Library
Topic: Overview of the Planning and Construction of the Library along with a tour of the facility.

4. Clint Wright was the winner of the drawing for the free breakfast at the next meeting. Congratulations Clint, we will see you at the next meeting to collect on the free breakfast.
