General Meeting Minutes
Next Chapter Meeting – April 6, 2005
Attending: John McGrath, Bob Unrath, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Andy Bonderer, Susan Hart, Bob Cunningham, Jerry Thompson, Greg Wack, Pat Schaefer, Bill Oswald, Larry Madore, Larry Brandhorst, Don Mitzel, Jim Morris, John Hequembourg, Scott Dressel, and Kevin Hutchings (speaker on pre-engineered metal buildings).
1. John McGrath reported chapters account balance as of 4/1/05.
a. Checking $8,033.48
b. Savings $10,080.72
2. March Board meeting minutes distributed.
3. There were no reports from Membership Committees.
4. Electronic Communications, Awards & Bylaws, and Technical Committees reported no changes from last meeting.
5. Susan Hart reported on need for chairpersons for the Program/Education Committee and the Bylaws and Awards Committee. Also looking for an NCR Director for the upcoming CSI year.
6. John Hequembourg reported more interest in upcoming certification.
7. Scott Dressel distributed program schedule and poll for program topics.
8. John McGrath reported on interest rates at various central Missouri financial institutions and general membership approved moving $5000.00 from checking and the balance of the scholarship savings to a 13 month CD at 1st Nat’l Bank of Columbia based on the highest rate.
9. Slate of officers and organizational chart for the upcoming CSI year was presented and approved by general membership. Congratulations and Thanks to Susan Hart and John Hequembourg, our 2005-06 President and President-Elect.
10. Drawing winner for March meeting’s free breakfast was Bob Drainer.
11. Speaker: Kevin Hutchings, Butler Systems, presented information on pre-engineered metal buildings.
