- President Jim Cooley called the meeting to order
- Attendance: 15 members, 1 speaker
- Treasurers report by John McGrath: Presented and approved.

- Membership- No report
- Programs/Education-Brad Copeland reported that he and
Scott Dressel are evaluating membership surveys for program
ideas and trying to incorporate those requests into future
programs.
- By-laws- No report.
- Electronic Communications Committee: No report
- Awards Committee- No report
- Certification- John Hequembourg asked that if anyone
is interested in taking certification classes to please
contact him. He will set up review classes as needed.
- Products Show- No report
- Golf Tournament Committee- Bob Drainer reported that
the golf tournament made approximately $10,000. NAWIC
handled the funds this year to take advantage of their
tax exempt status. NAWIC will be issuing a check to CSI
in August for 1û2 of the net proceeds. Jim Cooley thanked
golf tournament committee for their hard work.
- Technical Committee-Jerry Thompson reminded everyone
to donate industry related books, CDs etc to the library
reference project. Jerry Thompson to solicit pricing
on a computer for use at the library reference area.
- Old Business: None discussed
- New Business: Jim Cooley asked the membership present if
there was any interest
in participating in Canstruction as a group. No such interest was expressed
by the
group.
- Calendar of Events:
- Next regular meeting, Wed Sept 3rd 7:30am. Tour of
the JCCC jobsite.
- August Board meeting, Wed August 27th 5:00 pm, Triple
B Door office
- Don Mitzel won the free breakfast for the September 3rd meeting!
