Draft Strategic Plan was "roughed out" at the 6/30/04
Board Meeting/Annual Planning Session. The 10 goals in this plan
were originally formulated and approved by the board at the previous
planning session in June 2003. The status of the Draft Strategic
Plan was reviewed by the Board at the June 29, 2005 Annual Planning
Session. At this time both revised and new goal objectives and
action plans were proposed and discussed. The document was reworked
and finally approved by the board on 11/30/05. In order to include
some minor corrections and additions, it was revised in March
and April 2006, and a final draft was approved by the board on
4/26/06.

Edit Approved Draft Strategic Plan
During CSI fiscal year 03/04, our Chapter Bylaws were revised/updated
by the Bylaws Committee and Board. The Bylaws were also reviewed/approved
by the CSI Institute Secretary. The Amended Bylaws were finally
approved by the membership at the August 4, 2004 meeting. The final

CHAPTER BYLAWS
In CSI fiscal year ('02-'03) Jerry Thompson led a task force to
develop and implement a project with the Columbia Public Library.
This was Jerry's brainchild and something he has wanted to do for
some time through our local CSI Chapter. The project is well underway
and should prove to be a great success and service to the construction
community. Please read about the

We are encouraging all CSI members to make additions to The Architecture
and Construction Library Collection. Please review the list of items
already generously donated. If you have anything additional to donate
it would be greatly appreciated. Deliver your donated books to the
south truck dock area of the Columbia Public Library with a note
that it is for the Architecture and Construction Collection. If
you want a receipt to be mailed to you for IRS tax deduction purposes,
include that request with your name and address listed. There is
a person door with a doorbell at the truck dock area. Simply push
the button and a staff person should come to the door to receive
your donation. Thank you
