Minutes of the December 2003 Regular Meeting

1. President Jim Cooley called the meeting to order
   
   
2. Review and approval of last month’s meeting minutes
   
   
3. No Treasurer’s report.
   
   
4. Committee Reports
   1. Membership—55 current members, new member Donald Conner from Pacific MO, Professional Architect
      
   2. Programs/Education-No report
      
   3. By-laws- National has reported that they have received our revised bylaws and they are in the process of reviewing those.
      
   4. Electronic Communications Committee: No report
      
   5. Awards Committee-
      
   6. Certification- John Hequembourg reported that the early bird registration date had passed, however there was still time to register at the full rate. He is offering $25 CSI bucks to the first person to register. See John for details.
      
   7. Products Show- No report
      
   8. Golf Tournament Committee- No report until Spring
      
   9. Technical Committee-Jerry Thompson reported that he had obtained pricing on a computer based on the library supplied specifications. The cost would be $1200-1400. He reported that the CSI board had concluded that the reference area was not used enough at this time to rationalize the expense of the computer. No further action to occur on this subject.
