General Meeting Minutes
December 1st, 2004

Attending: Mark Snell, John McGrath, Pat Schaefer, Jerry Thompson, Jason Gerling, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Brad Copeland, John Hequemborg, Greg Wack, Bill Oswald, Vaughn Prost, Ruth Tofle, Craig Englebrecht, Larry Brandhorst, Andy Bonderer, and Jeff Justice(speaker on engineered wood products).

1. John McGrath reported chapters account balance as of 12/01/04.
   1. Checking $8,146.96

2. No November board meeting.
   
   
3. John McGrath reported a net loss of $36.00 from the Products Show on October 20th.
   
   
4. Brad Copeland announced monthly program speakers are scheduled through April, with a possible on the mold seminar in March.
   
   
5. John Hequemborg reported 2 people have expressed interest in certification, looking for 2 additional people. The new manual has been ordered.
   
   
6. There were no reports from Bylaws, Electronic Communications, Awards, Membership or Technical Committees.
   
   
7. Draft Strategic Plans were distributed to members to look over but final approval was tabled until January meeting when Scott Dressel could attend.
   
   
8. Drawing winner for January meeting’s free breakfast was Jerry Thompson.
   
   
9. Speaker: Jeff Justice from Trus Joist, a Weyerhauser Company, presented information on engineered wood products.
