General Meeting Minutes
January 5th, 2005

Attending: Mark Granneman, John McGrath, Pat Schaefer, Scott Dressel, Bob Unrath, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Brad Copeland, Bill Oswald, Dennis Kidwell, Jim Cooley, Bob Cunningham, Brice Moeller, Jim Dove, Chris Prichard, and Bruce Loesch(speaker on asphalt paving fundamentals).

1. John McGrath reported chapters account balance as of 1/05/05.
   1. Checking $8,368.10
      
   2. Savings $10,052.28
      
      
2. No December board meeting.
   
   
3. John McGrath reported a net profit of $64.00 from the Products Show on October 20th , with late payment from a show vendor making the difference from the net $36.00 loss reported at December meeting.
   
   
4. Brad Copeland announced monthly program speakers are scheduled through April, with the mold seminar in March being finalized at no fee.
   
   
5. Bob Unrath reported that new promotional material from national looks great. Mike Goldschmidt is working on student chapter at UMC.
   
   
6. There were no reports from Bylaws, Electronic Communications, Awards, Membership or Certification Committees.
   
   
7. Scott Dressel talked of the Strategic Plans discussed at summer board meeting. Chairpersons were encouraged to update goals and direction of their committees.
   
   
8. Bob Drainer reported on Linn State Technical’s Appreciation letter.
   
   
9. Drawing winner for January meeting’s free breakfast was John McGrath.
   
   
10. Speaker: Bruce Loesch from APAC, presented information on asphalt paving fundamentals.
