Next Chapter Meeting – 2/01/06
Attending: John Hequemborg, Pat Schaefer, Donald Pfast, Dennis Kidwell, Bill Oswald, Bob Unrath, Douglas Hamilton, John McGrath, Mark Schultz, Jim Morgan and Bill Faherty (speakers).
1. John McGrath reported chapters account balances as of 1/04/06.
a. Checking $8,327.83
b. Savings $15,000.00 plus interest
2. There was no December Board meeting.
3. Membership committee reported 57 members at last count.
4. Program Committee, Electronic Communications Committee, Awards committee, and Golf Tournament Committee had no new reports.
5. Certification Committee reminded of deadline for registration approaching. Study sessions to start soon. Test is set for March 25.
6. Technical Committee is still working on program for March or April on new Master Format.
7. Bylaws are still intact from last update.
8. 50th Annual National CSI Show scheduled for March 27 – April 1. Early registration is getting near.
9. Winner of drawing for free breakfast at January meeting was Bill Oswald.
10. Speakers: Jim Morgan and Bill Faherty on Aggregate Piers, Caissons, Piles, and Various Shoring Systems.
