CSI BREAKFAST MEETING MINUTES
March 12, 2003

  1. Jim Cooley called the Regular Meeting of the Central Missouri Chapter to Order at 7:50AM.

  2. Bob Drainer presented the treasures report for December 2002.
    Beginning Balance $ 9,363.01
    Total Deposits $ 255.00
    Total Checks $ 200.00
    CD $ 0.00
    Ending Balance $ 9,418.01
    The Treasurer's Report was approved.

  1. Committee Reports
    1. Membership committee. Jerry Thompson reported that we currently have 62 members with 53 Home Chapter members.
    2. There was no report presented at the Meeting. The current Program Schedule is on our Website.
    3. No formal Report was presented for the Bylaws Committee.
    4. No formal Report was presented for the Newsletter Committee.
    5. No formal Report was presented for the Bylaws Committee.
    6. No formal Report was presented for the Certification.
    7. The information on our Website is current and up to date.
    8. Brice reported that the CSI University Symposium would be held in Philadelphia in June. More information to follow. He also reported that he along with Scott Dressel, would be attending the Co nstruct America Convention in Chicago on April 8 through April 12.
    9. Jim Cooley reported that the Next Mini Product Show will be held on March 18, 2003 at the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Jefferson City, Missouri. The time will be 4:30 to 7:30.
    10. Greg Wack reported that the RFPs for the Golf Tournament have been received and the committee was meeting on Thursday, March 13 to make the final decision.
    11. CSI Partnership with Columbia Regional Library: Jerry Thompson reported that the plans for the April 2 Breakfast Meeting at the Columbia Regional Library have been finalized. The breakfast will be catered by "63 Diner" and that the AIA Chapter and the SDA Chapter have been invited.

    1. Scott is working on the Mission Statement
    2. There was no major discussion concerning the Bylaws.
    3. CSI Partnering with the Columbia Regional Library was reported earlier in these minutes.
    4. Discussion about the Mini Product show was reported earlier in these minutes.
  1. New Business
    1. Greg reported that he received e-mail from Nick Peckham about a upcoming USGBS meeting on March 13 in Columbia. The topic will be LEED Certification.
    2. Andy Bonderer announced that the Scholarship Application must be received by April 10, 2003.

  • March 18, 2003 is the Mini Product Show in Jefferson City at Capitol Plaza Hotel from 4:30 to 7:30.
  • March 25, 2003 is the March Board Meeting in Columbia.
  • April 2, 2003 Regular Breakfast Meeting will be at the Columbia Regional Library.
  • April 8 through 12, 2003 is the CSI National Construct America in Chicago.
