CSI Central Missouri Chapter
Board Meeting Minutes
March 30, 2005
Attending: Jim Cooley, Bob Drainer, Pat Schaefer, Susan Hart, John McGrath, John Hequembourg, Bob Unrath, and Greg Wack
1. Treasurers report: Balance of $8033.48 in checking, correcting previous $100.00 error and $10,072.68 in scholarship savings.
2. Old Business: Discussed moving some of checking account funds to a higher interest bearing account (money market). John Mcgrath had some comparative rates and will get more for the monthly meeting so we can decide on change.
3. Greg Wack reported that the annual golf tourney will be held at Columbia Country Club again this year on Monday, July 25th. Pat Schaefer will contact sponsors for the 19th Hole, Greg Wack will be in charge of set-up and Susan Hart will get trophies.
4. Bob Unrath asked for some suggestions on added projects for the technology committee. A library update as well as magazine purchases for the student chapter and other student organizations to encourage growth in the building and design industry.
5. Susan Hart reported on the CSI Organizational Chart and the need for an NCR director as well as possible committee chairs for the Program/Education Committee and the Bylaws and Awards Committee.
6. Discussion on eliminating the Products Show Committee following several poorly attended shows was favorable and will be further discussed at the April meeting.
7. Kevin Hutchings will be the speaker on pre-engineered metal buildings at the April meeting. Scheduling CSI tours on the same day as the regular monthly meetings was discussed as well as the best time of day for attendance.
