Attending: John McGrath, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Carla Drainer, Andy Bonderer, Bob Cunningham, Jerry Thompson, Larry Brandhorst, John Hequembourg, Scott Dressel, Seth Evans, Craig Engelbrecht, Wayne Huebert, Dennis Kidwell, Bryce Moeller, Ruth Tofle, Jim Dove, Sam Goldammer, Mark Temple(Guest), Dan Boeckman, Al Fandrey, Carla McDaniel and Brian Bock(Scholarship Recipients), and Bob Teller (speaker on new national CAD standards).

1. John McGrath reported chapters account balances as of 5/41/05.

a. Checking $3,154.08
b. Savings $15,000.00

2. April Board meeting – no quorum.
3. There were no reports from Membership, Programs, Technical and Product Show Committees.
4. Electronic Communications and Awards & Bylaws Committees reported no changes from last meeting.
5. Certification Committee reported tests will be available at the Regional Conference in Des Moines.
6. Poll on possible upcoming meeting programs was distributed and all were invited to complete and return.
7. Joint program with AIA on Master Format at UMC General Services Building will be on June 15 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
8. Golf Tournament will be on July 25, 2005 at Columbia Country Club.
9. St Louis Chapter’s Product Show is May 4. 2005 at the Fronteac Hilton.
10. Drawing winner for March meeting’s free breakfast was Dan Boeckman.
11. Carla McDaniel from Linn State Technical College talked about the college outlook, and thanked CSI for being a scholarship provider. CSI is one of twenty private scholarships Linn State offers. There were 300 applicants for these scholarships. She then presented CSI with an appreciation certificate.
12. Speaker: Kevin Hutchings, Butler Systems, presented information the new national CAD standards, with emphasis on standardized blue prints.
