CSI Central Missouri Chapter
General Meeting Minutes
November 3, 2004

Attending: John McGrath, Pat Schaefer, Jerry Thompson, Seth Evans, Brice Moeller, Jason Gerling, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Brad Copeland, John Hequemborg, Matt Trachsel, Greg Wack, Bill Oswald, Jim Cooley, Dennis Kidwell, Vaughn Prost, Ruth Tofle, Jim Dove, Andy Bonderer, and Pamela Henrickson(speaker on construction litigation).

1. John McGrath reported chapters account balance as of 11/03/04.
   1. Checking $8,646.58
      
   2. Savings $10,040.39
      
      
2. No quorum at the October board meeting, but an email ballot was approved unanimously to donate $500.00 to 2004 CANSTRUCTION.
   
   
3. Matt Trachsel reported membership committee received new table top display and literature from C.S.I. national for future shows. October showed no new members.
   
   
4. Products Show on October 20th was poorly attended with many being the same people as always. Initial reports show break even or possibly a slim profit.
   
   
5. Brad Copeland announced December speaker to be Dave Gates on asphalt paving fundamentals.
   
   
6. John Hequemborg reported certification study group could be formed if there is enough interest. Also this year’s test will be from the new manual of practice. At this time, no one from our chapter has registered to sit for the test.
   
   
7. There were no reports from Bylaws, Electronic Communications, Awards, or Technical Committees.
   
   
8. NAWIC Block Kids Contest was announced and promoted. This years contest is on November 12th at the Ashland Optimist Club.
   
   
9. Drawing winner for December meeting’s free breakfast was Dennis Kidwell.
   
   
10. Speaker: Pamela Henrickson discussed construction litigation and arbitration.
