General Meeting Minutes

Attending: John McGrath, Pat Schaefer, Bill Oswald, Jerry Thompson, Seth Evans, Sam Goldammer, Brice Moeller, Bob Unrath, Larry Brandhorst, Jason Gerling, Mark Schultz, Bob Drainer, Scott Dressel, Tim Peterson, and Gary Linn

1. John McGrath reported chapters account balance as of 8/31/04.
   1. Checking $4,511.25
      
   2. Savings $10,030.54
      
      
2. Total Income from golf tournament was $19,301.00 with expenses of $9975.00 .
   
   
3. Bob Unrath reported that he and Ruth Tofle were initiating student chapter. Will dues be required and do we have materials for education?
   
   
4. Products Show date of October 20th was discussed and finalized. Show to be held at Ramada Inn, Columbia with seminar from 3:00-4:30 and products show from 4:30-6:30.
   
   
5. Bryce Moeller reported NCR conference in Lake Geneva, WI was a success although we had no local attendees. Next conference in Des Moines, IA. CSI National in Chicago was a success for both vendors and attendees. Next year’s convention is also in Chicago and will be teamed with CSI University, Facilities Management, and the Mason Contractors Association.
   
   
6. Scott Dressel talked about changing program schedule to move Dennis Hall to a later date.
   
   
7. Speaker: Tim Peterson w/ VT Industries, Inc. discussed environmental considerations in specifying wood doors and how this related to green building and LEED certification.
